  7. Eric Clapton Unplugged was part of the hugely popular and important MTV Unplugged series. It was recorded on January 16, at Bray Film Studios in Windsor, England. For the performance, Clapton largely used Martin EC and acoustic guitars. They sound sparkling and beautiful throughout the album.

  8. Eric Clapton's "MTV Unplugged" is nothing short of a masterpiece. Opening with the short instrumental Clapton and the band quickly set the tone for the blues standards. I bought this album for "Layla" but the entire album is a joy to listen to with "Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out" and "Before You Accuse Me" Clapton's phenomenal /5(1).
